Green Recovery Tec “CO2 Removal and Disposal Technology” ‒UNFCCC & CCUDM‒
We comply with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and have been developing technologies to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere as part of the mitigation of global warming.
In particular, for the development of separation/disposal technology for high-concentration CO2 contained in natural gas. For this project, we have signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with PT PERTAMINA, the state-owned company who is responsible for the extraction, refining, and sales of oil and gas in the Republic of Indonesia.
This technology is a process in which high-concentration CO2 contained in natural gas is directly separated and disposed without passing through a conventional amine absorption tower. After the dispose, high-value-added graphene and substances that are basic materials for pharmaceuticals are produced. And we are proceeding this with a strategy which several types of basic patents support it.
This process enables the development of new gas fields containing high concentrations of CO2 and is expected to increase the production of clean energy. This process can also be applied to the separation and disposal of CO2 emitted from coal-fired power plants.
We have positioned this process as new development called CCUDM (Carbon Dioxide Capture, Utilization, Disposing and Mitigation), and named its equipment as VIRTUS (Vanishing Carbon Dioxide by Impact Reaction and Tightly Utilization System).
Currently, our company has been independently adopted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for the “Bilateral Credit Project for CCUS International Collaboration Project (JCM) in the Republic of Indonesia”. And we are trying to build the business model for this technology introduces into the natural gas fields and proceeding to evaluate its business feasibility with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
