From “Working From Home” to the original working style

With the cancellation of “The state of emergency”, many firms are returning from “Working From Home (WFH)” to their original working patterns after all. It seems that we can finally get out of the long tunnel, and we’re just getting started all over. When exposed to WFH, many people were feeling anxious about their jobs. And they must have been wanting to get back to normal as soon as possible. However, today, a few days after the declaration of the state of emergency was lifted, it seems that the number of people who say the exact opposite – that commuting on a crowded train in the morning is stressful – has quickly increased. It may be a skill that only human beings could have, which is to flip over the painful years of about two years in just a few days.

Given this, I think we may return to the field of new product development, where we have managed to make progress in the face of fierce competition. While WFH is becoming established and a new development system is about to be almost born,  I am concerned that developers themselves could be trying to follow the same path they have been.

A design method named [Free Dimension]

However, since human beings are wise creatures, they may follow a springy path as if they progress while moving backwards.  In a sense, due to the influence of COVID-19, it was like recharging the battery, if we could say that we received two years holiday. Now that we have spent days as we could call it “a given opportunity”, we could say that we might work efficiently on a new product development project. Should we just call it development with DX? In particular, I think it’s a mechanism that allows you to develop through a PC that’s only 27 inches.
