Security vulnerabilities and Work From Home

While many companies are enforcing WFH, I think that many people are confused because the system for WFH itself is not in place. Incredibly, although in situations where security is essential, the communication method uses free-based Line, Zoom, Skype, Teams, etc. to provide meaningful content for both companies and individuals in public places such as Starbucks Coffee. It is no exaggeration to say that Japan provides confidential information free of charge when you look at how it is generously provided at stores, parks, and balconies at home.

Aside from the story of information dissemination, I predict that adverse effect of the new coronavirus will last at least by the end of 2021.In that sense, it is not too hard to predict that work with Laptop PC become increasing as WFH becomes more established. I think that the importance of security will be reviewed and reconsidered accordingly.

Until now, many developers had been focusing on reducing the weight of laptops, but then, not to mention the speed of the CPU, I think It would need a large storage capacity to avoid freezes during work or organise more information on the screen.  In other words, it can be said that the way to use of notebook PCs has changed drastically due to the influence of the new coronavirus.

Establishment of Work From Home and creation of themes

Given above, in terms of “theme creation”, I would say that the new models of notebook PCs from spring to summer 2021 should be like following.

On the other hand, I can easily imagine that developers would speak aloud like “With such high-grade specifications, to strictly adhere to the development schedule, and not to mention, the retail price of 180,000 yen is impossible.” I can say that is because it follows the conventional development method and looks at the created theme by standing on the extension of the conventional complicated functions.

However, it is also necessary to suggest a development method with the theme creation based on the reality that the social structure that built through over 100 years has collapsed in a year.
